This FDA approved device uses infrared and red wavelengths of light to heal skin. Unlike a laser, which can be intense enough to burn skin tissue, the LEDs used in this device cannot damage skin. They do produce enough light energy to stimulate the skin and underlying tissue to rejuvenate them.
